Mine would probably have to be Sega Master System. Genesis would be a close second.

Personally, I think the best controller was the Sega Genesis. The six-button controller perfectly handled all games on its platform, was light, virtually indestructible, had a good length of cord, had a dpad so good that you don't need an analog stick, and had the perfect sized buttons. Besides that, I'd have to say that the Dreamcast controller is second best. So comfortable, so simple, and with the addition of a VMU, your controller can be part of the entertainment value rather than just the console itself.

oh yah im a total wimp ......

dude i dont go playing games to get my hands tired, i play them to have fun....
a controller is supposed to be light and small, not huge and heavy. It doesnt even make sense to want heavy controller, light controller both improve your gameplay and are easier to use.

so your telling me that im wrong by saying the controller is ganna tire my hand out? last time i checked, controllers aren't supposed to do that

farquezy......it was a joke dude.

Anyway....to me the PS3's triggers feel weird.I have honestly only played around with the PS3 controller at walmart tho.

360 controller is like a dream in ur hands. Very responsive and well thought out. I hated the XBOX controller (whats the point in black and white buttons???).

The black and white buttons were probably there to make the Xbox controller "original". But it phailed.

Yea the whole controller argument just doesn't sound legit to me. The 360 controller is perfectly fine. If a controller makes your hand tired then wow. I mean the 360 controller feels perfectly fine to me, and isn't heavy. I love it compared to any other controllers, especially ps3. I don't hate it, but if I have to choose then the 360 feels more comfortable to me.

The PS2 controller is pretty simple to use, no special buttons or anything. The NES controller is the best, an A and B button and a directional pad, and a start and select button. Its perfect :P.

I know you are kidding about this.

First off it is usable but it is too blocky. The corners hurt after a while and as you have described not enough buttons.

Now when the SNES controller came out...that was genius! More buttons, and round contours that made it conform to anyones hands. OH and very light too.

Yea I have a SNES controller as well. They where much better than the NES ones. Quite a bit of extra buttons and comfortable fit.
