anyways is FF7 turn based? because i HATE turn based games, they are soooooooooo boring.

Also another questions, why does every FF have a different story, they confuse me so much. I always thought FF10 let you play cloud, FF10 was the only FF i have played, but i dont remember anything form it lol

heh your thinking too hard farq. turn base games are pretty fun. they allow for a whole new range of possibilities. play ff7 and learn how to use materia combos. you'll see what i mean

Nah FFX main character is a guy named Titus. Cloud isn't in that one . But it is still an o/k game, but I prefer FF7 out of the 2.

So in FF7 Zack and Aerith die trying to kill Sephiroth right?

also in the FF7 advent children movie, whos that one chick who keeps coming to Cloud's dreams and helping him and stuff?

In CC, Zack's life and a certain major event is told. Aerith doesn't die in the game, and Sephiroth is actually a good guy. At the end, Sephiroth goes crazy upon learning his origin. Zack dies escaping from Shin-Ra with Cloud, who is in a Mako-poisened state. During 7, Sephiroth resurfaces as an evil guy, and Cloud goes off to defeat him. The girl in Advent Children, you'll figure out when you play FF7. Hard to explain things without massive spoilers, the whole series of plot points is revealed out of order, like in Kill Bill.

because its unrealistic to do...
those cut scenes are awesome to watch because it takes them a long time to plan out every action and to make it as dramatic as possible, it would never work in a video game. you would what walk around for awhile then get in some random cinematography type battle? that would be fine for a few battles, but it would take the producers of the game forever to make enough battles like that to last a whole game

and the cut scenes are meant to be the big part that everyone can't wait to watch, it is what keeps the story going, if you had battles like that no one would care about the cut scenes if they were just like the battles you play in the game

i dunno, 8-bit explained it fine for now, unless you play FF7 it doesn't really matter, there is a lot (a ton actually) to the whole story, look it up online if you want i'm sure there are like 10 page papers on the whole plot


i would suggest playing FF7, its a great game and probably the most enjoyable game ive ever played, enough that i've beat it 8-10 times (which I rarely if ever replay RPGs) and mastered it with getting everything done i could possibly do in the game with sidequests, materia, levels, weapons, etc

you really should just watch the first FF7 movie(Anime, Subbed, Jap-only, Floating around on the internet) rather than play(or buy) CC as CC is Bullsh!t.
