Yet you didn't answer it, I don't think it's right for an official admin to go around deleting accounts.
I'm not the only one that sais so either.

That's not a fair question.
Why don't we delete threads instead of just moving them? Give 10 legitimate reasons.

How is it not a fair question? He says we should never delete an account..Im trying to figure out why he thinks this.

1. To put it in the appropriate section.
2. To give credit to the poster if it is worthy.
3. If we delete, the poster loses 1 post count.
4. To point out the spammer in question.
5. To discuss the matter with staff.
6. To move to spam if its against the rules to see if the rules should be modified in any way.
7. To pass a staff vote only on a public situation if the situation gets out of hand.
8. To keep track of all spammers weve had to see if we must delete the IP range or not. If we delete the post we have nothing to look back to.
9. Same for number 8- We wouldnt easily know if a member had two accounts if we deleted all of the posts on one.

10. To keep track of our past. Without knowing the past, we could repeat the past in the future. Then would we be moving backwards or forward? In my thinking, backwards.

No, I'm not talking about posts that were accidentally posted in the wrong spot.

I've got 7.

1. If the person contributed a ton to the site, and has been their for a long time,
I don't think they'd be too happy about all their posts being wiped out, even though they were banned.

2. Depending on the case of why he/she was banned, Resurrection is common here at brew,
a lot of people would rather be unbanned from a previous account rather than have to make a new one

3. It comes off as extremely unprofessional, unless the account being deleted is years banned
or the account didn't contribute a good sum of posts / discussions

4. It's possible something stupid like deleting an account by accident could happen >_>

5. It's permanent. If the remover decides to change his/her mind, it can't be undone
(unless the remover had access to backup php files, which the remover most likely won't.....)

6. To keep a record for future reference

7. To keep track of our past. Without knowing the past, we could repeat the past in the future. Then would we be moving backwards or forward? In my thinking, backwards.

I don't think they'd be too happy about all their posts being wiped out, even though they were banned.- If they are banned they shouldnt be on the site anymore. How would they know? And we have to have a legitimate reason to ban an account. Say if they "hacked" into the brewology or spammed. Why should we care about them?

2. Depending on the case of why he/she was banned, Resurrection is common here at brew,
a lot of people would rather be unbanned from a previous account rather than have to make a new one -Its a rule not to make a new account. Once again, I go back to us having a legitimate reason to ban them. Resurrection is NOT common at the brew. Your the special case.

3. It comes off as extremely unprofessional, unless the account being deleted is years banned
or the account didn't contribute a good sum of posts / discussions -Yet again how do people know unless we publicaly announce it? A deleted account doesnt have a big red flag saying that this account has been deleted. Besides, other forums do it too.

4. It's possible something stupid like deleting an account by accident could happen >_> I won't comment on this because I helped in this mistake.

5. It's permanent. If the remover decides to change his/her mind, it can't be undone
(unless the remover had access to backup php files, which the remover most likely won't.....) -Why would the remover change his mind on unbanning and bring back a spammer/a person who broke rules? We take banning and removal of accounts very seriously. We dont do it for little reasons. Look around, we have been pretty lenient with the rules with you all.

6. To keep a record for future reference - Please refer to number 7.

7. To keep track of our past. Without knowing the past, we could repeat the past in the future. Then would we be moving backwards or forward? In my thinking, backwards. -I like this quote :) But your wrong. By deleting said account we can still see the posts this user made. Move these comments to wherever they may need to go. So, no, we would still be moving forward..not backwards

To Mailas,

With Love,
BKF
