We were lucky to do half the traffic we do now back when you were a staff member Mailas. Not only that, you broke rules as a staff member constantly and deleted any posts that went against what you said (or called it spam). Now you're mad at how we're running things?

Damn. Sounds like you need another site then. We can't help you.

It's in the staff section, written very clearly, that the others only chose you to be a staff member in the first place because you constantly kept private messaging them and asking and trying to coerce others to the point that they got tired of listening to you b**ch and just gave in and let you be a staff member. Of course, let's deny that and assume that we're the bad guys for trying to maintain a website that, yes, few people care about when compared to other homebrew sites, but one that you tried actually destroying - literally.

EDIT - Why don't I see the people who are complaining also helping the community out in the Help and Tutorials sections like most others who don't have any issues?

This place is STILL great and I am still here every single day. I may not be as active as others but of course i haven't been threatened with banning once either. I was more active when there wasn't so much drama and there was more stuff hitting the scene. Dark_Alex is gone. GEN is gone. No one has taken their place and Sony is only getting better with their security.

The only people that have problems with things are people that fall into these categories.

1. People that have broken rules consistently or been warned repeatedly in the past.
2. People that have been banned (who are unbanned if they are speaking here).
3. People that don't like authority in general.
4. People that want to be staff members and feel they aren't being appreciated.
5. People that don't contribute to the health of the forum in the first place.

There are many members who may be upset about how things are going here for any of these reasons, or several. Generally speaking, these are the types of people that an administrator has to learn how to reel in and make comfortable. The members abiding by the rules and being good forumites who lend a helping hand when they can have absolutely no problem here - like my feathered friend light alistor (because I say he has feathers).

I've contributed enough help over the years, and no it's not just the "bad members" you say
are having a problem with it, some people just don't have the balls to admit it, believe me there are lots others.
This corruption however..cannot be aided, not without Nik back.

Just trying to let you get a grip on reality.
Your next post will most likely be directed towards me and me alone with facts about my past
here which are either untruthful or pointless to this.
Post something useless, then lock the topic I guess, I'm not even looking at this topic anymore,

You'll argue all day long about how you're a f**k God among men but won't list one single thing that you think will help. You're just b**ch. What "corruption" is there that you see? The only rule I can remember breaking would be reviving your account. You rave about how "Nik will bring us justice. He is our savior." Man, Nik told us not to let you within a f**k arm's length of the forum. Now look at you. You're unbanned. You're posting. And you're mentioning slanderous things about the current staff even though you, as a past staff member, tried to destroy the site.

I can't make this site an exceptional one like I have in my visions of how things have a potential to be. Not without time. But I certainly never tried to destroy it like you.

So please, without me going and listing how sh*t of a member you've been (in light of me unbanning you regardless), I want to know what "corruption" there is that you see here. Specifically tell me about this "corruption".

It's good to be the king. Know your place and don't compare yourself to and judge the staff. If you take issue with them do it in private via PM or some other messaging. Bashing staff in public just makes you look like a whinny spoiled brat, that goes for everyone.

I love this place, but if you guys go all fatheaded, ill go educate after dawn and some other places.

What is that supposed to mean? Refresh me on the educating that you have done here. All I recall from you is a hollow self promoting thread on why you aren't a staff member after 12 months. Odd how no one else shared your feelings at the time and now you bash the very site you claimed to want to help run. What are you in it for really?

Then quit b**ch and set the example, show us what it can be instead of complaining about what it used to be. PSP dev has slowed down across the board, the site has nothing to do with that. Your tactless ramblings don't help in fact they potentially drive away new contributors. Malias you are a senior member and judging by your recent posts it's no wonder why you don't have more privileges around here when you log in.

For everyone
YOU can make the brew what YOU want it to be. IF you choose to bash staff at every opportunity then that is what it will become. But, if you want it to be a place where you can get quick answers to various tech questions and other things then step up and do your part.

This site isn't what it used to be because the scene isn't what it used to be. The ds has crappy graphics and no processing power, the psp has reached it's peak until a new version is released, the wii is a novelty, all you can do on an xbox is pirate, and the ps3 is still locked down at the moment. There's nothing happening in the scene. Look at any game site. It's only going to be a bunch of spoiled 12 yr olds asking how to hack their stuff the easiest way possible, they don't understand in the slightest how it works, and then start bi**hing when something goes wrong.

This forum is no different, and there are quite a few members here that are immature little preteens that think they're awesome members because they have high post counts. If you look at most of the truely helpful members, people that have contributed quite a bit, they'll have lower post counts than some of these "active" members. I wish there was a statistic to see what percent of people's posts were here in general chat.

Looking at the few people complaining, I'm pretty sure you've all caused issues for other members. And I know most of you have been repremanded for forum misconduct at one point in time.

That all aside. These forums are what you make them. You want it to be up to date with news? THAN POST SOME. You want to draw a croud to the site? THAN CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING! What made the site popular in the beginning was the psp packgen. The wii packgen gave it second life. It's up to YOU ALL, not just the staff, to decide what happens with the brew. Get your a**es out of general chat and post some tutorials. I'm sure there's been some stuff you've done recently to your systems or pcs. I read about someone's quest to hack their ps2... Where's the tutorial for it?

Guess what? When you joined it was the same crew working the same way with the same, albeit slightly modified, rules. We have not changed how we do things. When people start arguments over childish banter that is unrelated to the original topics at hand, we lock them. This is usually also done because the original topic creator has asked us to do so, however, just because we don't have a rule about which topics can be locked or not does not mean that the staff is violating any terms of service or rights of any members here. The moderators are moderating just as they always have with the same purpose they always have and even if they were going out of control to the point where the staff here is "corrupt", like Mailas says, the very first thing outlined in our rules and regulations thread is that any problem that comes up regarding posts or actions taken by moderators can be solved via sending an appeal to me, personally.

And airplanes18 is banned for many reasons, but most notably for insulting me personally and going out of his way to call me an donkey's rear end.

Err well I think I've found out that trying to prove a point is useless, so I'll just talk a bit more peacefully.
Just a question DPM, this is not in any way offensive, but what makes you think you aren't doing anything
differently than how things were run before?

Now like I said before, its not just me that thinks things are ran differently now, but as you can see people like Deth
and airplanes don't seem to like it either, but I won't complain, just an innocent question:
What makes you think you're doing the same routine as the previous administration, when people seem to be getting
annoyed and complaining against the current administration? Do you not think at all things might be just a *tad* different?

Again just an innocent question, don't take it as me trying to cause trouble, just want to know the answer.
