Everyone's too young here! I remember using dialup to play games online! you think you had ping issues now... playing warcraft online, had to dial up before the start of a game and if you pinged out... game over for you. no simple reconnect.

LULZ Age of Empires and Age of Mythology online with 56k. Surprisingly good gameplay though still. And Sega Net on the Dreamcast with 56k was f-ing rape man. The broadband kit is hard to find and expensive as ever now for the Dreamcast, but you can build you own pretty cheap.
