the bubonic plague, wars all other the place, and increase in number of people who became athiests, even athiesm started at that time i think...Earthquakes happened and people were killing and slaughtering each other all over the world. But NO JESUS CAME!!.

There are still more things that are to happen before God comes back that I didn't get to mention earlier. It also states in the Bible that before He comes, that every single person will have a chance to know him. With increased missionary work and the spread of the gospel, there is a huge chance for this to happen here soon.

But of coarse there have been wars and earthquakes. But not all of these other things have happened.
But the Bible has predicted every single one of these things! How could someone during the B.C/A.D know all of these things would happen? That the temple would be destroyed and would be rebuilt later on, which people are wanting to start rebuilding it now.

Even i can predicts something like that will happen, doesnt take a genius. So when i said my best friend would have his girl friend break up with him and she did, then im god? because i predicted what will happen.
I also said she would hate me and hate him, and be happy like nothing happened.
AND ALL I IT CAME TRUE!!

So you think you could have predicted all of these things back in Jesus times?

How can you think that simply believe that predicting beating a measly record on a game has the equivalent of predicting the times to come thousands of years into the future that are proven to be happening?

People have predicted Jesus and his return for a LONG time now. I have heard 2000 and i have hear 2012. In the bible it states Jesus will return when the time is right and no man shall know the hour. So no one really knows.

ahh i love how even though people wait and see no jesus comes, they still believe in him, i mean i would lose faith but some people have a stronger sense of faith then i do??

but if he does, i promise then ill believe in him, because then there is hard evidence that he exists, but until that day there is no evidence so i will not believe.

But just so you know i used to believe in god to, but something happened that made me not believe, if you guys want i can tell you what it was.

Jesus has said when he returns it is to late after that. You cant just say i will wait till his return to believe. It just doesnt work that way.

No one knows when Jesus is coming, people may predict but they have no idea, the Bible states that no one will know, Jesus' disciples ask but he just tells them the signs that will come to show His coming. And I still don't get why you say there is "no evidence" didn't you read the stuff I posted? About the red heifer, the temple, the lawlessness, the incurable diseases. Also it says that before Jesus comes that ALL the nations of the world shall go against Israel.. That sounds familiar right? I think just the US and some African country are allies to Israel. In the Bible it states that it will happen, and what do ya know its happening.

Well people thought that when it turned to year 2000 something bad was gonna happen lol, they probably thought that Jesus was coming then just because. Also, if the Bible told us exactly when Jesus was coming, then everyone would party all the time up until that moment when Jesus was coming and be good so they could go to heaven. Even though if they tried to be good afterwards, they probably wouldn't mean it so they wouldn't go anyway. The Bible repeatedly states for us to be ready in Matthew 24.

Well I don't look down on them. I don't usually talk to anyone about God, I don't know if half the people I know believe in God. But if they would just look at the signs.. they would know. Bad things may have happened to them to make them not like God, but perhaps it made them stronger and it was a test but the Devil also has his hands in thigns so you can't expect everything to be perfect.

Some people need something to believe in whether it is god or their favorite team sport. It is not my place or anyone else's to turn anyone to the "dark side". If a specific question is thrown at me I will answer it with my opinion but I will not go on a "Crusade" for lack of a better term to talk anyone out of what they believe.

I have known many wicked people that need Christ in their lives in order to not do "evil" deeds. I have also known many people that cause harm to others and claim it is in Christs name. I am sure we all could name a few. That is not my point however my point is that we are who we are. What we believe in is a part of that.

The great thing about faith is that no one should need to prove it to you or take it from you.

By the way I am not a Scientologist if anyone was wondering.

I agree with que13x, everyone does need SOMETHING to believe in. I totally believe in what the bible says. And I hear the same excuse all the time, there are to many lies in it. Well I don't try to deeply analyze the bible or anything. I'm not even a religious person. I believe the core concepts that the bible says, and that to go to heaven you need a personal relationship with God. Most people that disagree with Christianity, don't really have there own explanations at all. I don't understand how you can disagree with something when you don't have beliefs yourself. How did we get here? Just because Jesus hasn't came yet doesn't mean I won't believe in him because obviously once he comes it will be to late. Not even Jesus knows when he will come back until God tells him when to. But to me it takes a lot more faith to believe everything was just random, and we came out of a random black hole or from some random explosion. To believe that we went from an explosion somewhere in space of which we don't even know where the space came from for that matter, to where we are now. I mean to think we basically went from an explosion in space to conquering space for our selfs, when our basic scientific beliefs state that nothing can go from choas to order when left alone is insane.

But thats what I believe. I won't criticize or start calling names because someone believes something that I don't think is true.
