Speaking of aliens, and to hijack this thread, you guys hear about the "music" that Saturn makes? It's kind of beautiful in a way.

Might explain why people still worship the planet though most don't know they are even doing it.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.

And they will remember...

Stop scaring the children. Go eat genetically modified foods and hush up.

You can say that Bill Cooper predicted 9/11, because he "did", or you can say Alex Jones predicted 9/11. Both did though.

Jones predicting 9/11

I'm with Puncharger.
9/11 wasn't predicted, and I think everyone should just let it be and move on.
(I'm not talking brew, but the whole continent in general)

Well, Jones certainly said that the government would stage a terror plot against its own citizens and even went on to say that Bin Laden is a known CIA asset and that "he's the boogyman they need"... that kinda points out that there will be a planned terrorist attack carried out by the CIA/ Government against its own citizens and that Bin Laden is likely going to be a scapegoat.

I think it was called pretty well....?

Yeah it picked up that there would be a horrific event. I looked up and got Wiki and checked their reference article (LINK).

I found this particular passage interesting from the article.

Wikipedia Reference wrote:I think I can see where the Web Bots will succeed and where it will fail. There are fields I believe the Web Bots can predict stuff and there are field they can’t. What are these fields? Well, essentially, anything “man-made” could be predicted in some way and anything man has no control over can’t be predicted. This is for the plain and simple reason that the Web Bots crawl the Internet for data and the Internet is actually man-made. So, the only data that can be collected is data written by people/government/companies,etc. I don’t see how you can predict a natural disaster or anything like that by simply crawling the Web. The only thing you can get by crawling is facts or opinions, nothing else. The only way I can see predicting natural disasters or anything not man related is if the Web Bots actually crawls 3 000 blogs/websites written by specialists of a certain domain and that they are pointing towards a similar conclusion.

my post that got locked

Hey people. just watched notrudomis 2012 and its a fallow up on the events of 2012 and it kinda made me think about what could happen. to be honest I dont think there will be a religious armagedon or a solar flare. but I believe that there will be many deaths. if you think about it alot of people already are scared of what is to come because of the lies the goverment and the news are telling people (fox news isnt exactly helping matter if u see what im sayin ) so because people are scared of dec 21 2012 there will be...

1. mass suicide
2. real astate will go WAY UP
3. Rioting
4. Economic plummet
5. Mass murder
6. Mass robbery (again rioting)
7. Mass people praying
8. Terrorism
9. people finding bomb shelters to hide out in

I also found out that the program web bot has been a huge part in "the end"

"WEB BOT: Maybe some of you have heard of The Web Bot Project, but for those of you who have not, it's quite intriguing. The Web Bot Project, developed in the late 1990's, was created to assist in making stock market predictions. The technology uses a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does."
(that was straight off of digg.com)

so apperetly on the show i was watching the web bot predicted 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina and it also predicted the stock market crashes. the program was developed in the 1990s so there had to be something telling the creator "cliff" what was going to happen. I cant answer that truthfully. if you want my opinion he read it off the Mayan, Hindu or another calender.

okay I also found out that somewhere in Norway that there building a bunker to help the "suvivors" of 2012

"Norway has taken it upon it to save or at least aid in the salvation of mankind in the event of global catastrophe, be it from another Ice age or some other form of Global Mass Extinction. They've created a massive underground vault capable of housing 4.5 million samples of seed stock, can be housed for hundreds if not thousands of years. In the occurrence of a global disaster the seeds could be used to repopulate the worlds agriculture, creating a environment able to support human as well as animal life. Should December 21st 2012 be the end.Hats off to the Norwegians for thinking ahead."

-eccotech.com

but really in my opinion this is one of about 2 things...

1. the goverment wants to scare us into selling our homes and giving money.
2. wants to scare us into buying things we dont need.

so whats your oppinion?

Mass suicide out of fear is kind of believable.

well I mean on the 20th anyways found some interesting stuff out about Nostradamus and his visions.

"Most of the quatrains deal with disasters, such as plagues, earthquakes, wars, floods, invasions, murders, droughts, and battles – all undated and based on foreshadowings by the Mirabilis Liber. Some quatrains cover these disasters in overall terms; others concern a single person or small group of persons. Some cover a single town, others several towns in several countries. A major, underlying theme is an impending invasion of Europe by Muslim forces from further east and south headed by the expected Antichrist, directly reflecting the then-current Ottoman invasions and the earlier Saracen (that is, Arab) equivalents, as well as the prior expectations of the Mirabilis Liber.[2] All of this is presented in the context of the supposedly imminent end of the world – even though this is not in fact mentioned[22] – a conviction that sparked numerous collections of end-time prophecies at the time, not least an unpublished collection by Christopher Columbus.[23]
Nostradamus enthusiasts have credited him with predicting numerous events in world history, from the Great Fire of London, by way of the rise of Napoleon I of France and Adolf Hitler, to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center,[11] but only ever in hindsight. Skeptics such as James Randi suggest that his reputation as a prophet is largely manufactured by modern-day supporters who fit his words to events that have either already occurred or are so imminent as to be inevitable, a process sometimes known as "retroactive clairvoyance." There is no evidence in the academic literature to suggest that any Nostradamus quatrain has ever been interpreted as predicting a specific event before it occurred, other than in vague, general terms that could equally apply to any number of other events."
