Government Love it or hate it

Furthermore, while I'm on the topic, what do you guys think about gays/ lesbians? Equal rights and opportunity or no?

I think this may have been touched on (like boys and Michael) in the Chris Crocker thread. Anyhow, I know this is your board and you can do what you want but I feel that if we are going to discuss something this controversial that it deserves a new thread DPM.

But, since I am here I may as well put in my two cents.

Regardless of your orientation I believe that if you mess with someones privates you should keep it private or we should not call them privates anymore. Did that make sense?

i think gays and lesbians should be allowed...

I don't think I've really read this thread at all but about gays and lesbians. I believe their humans like everyone else, but I don't think it's right. I mean why do you think we have men and women? I know they all say they were born that way, but do you see two male monkeys doing each other? Or two male bears? (please no stupid youtube links in response to that statement) It's just not natural, and not what God intended. But that's just my point and what I believe.

Ok first of all I'm not gay and never will be. And how would it not be my fault that I'm gay? If you chose to be gay then it's your fault. And how is it possible that people could only be gay or lesbians? If that was true then their would only be one gender. Even if their was a gay dictator that said if you have sex with the opposite gender then I wouldn't care. No I would not have sex with my mail, neither would I have sex with a male because then it would even be sex at all. In my opinion, it's just not natural to be gay, and God didn't make it that way. If it was supposed to be like that then there would only be one race.

but you know whats wierd, its that the U.S. has the biggest gay community in the world while there are countries like China and India with double our population.

The Government in itself has corrupt people within, but not all people are corrupt, some people out there are actually trying to do good.

Ya thats too bad, bribary, and if you are in a high up place if you won't accept the bribe then you would probably be killed. Thats what I think, like if I ever got in a high position I know someone would try to bribe me and if I wouldn't accept then they would have me killed or something.

About corruption within government. If you ask me, I'd say that any successful government HAS to be corrupted, and in many different fields, in order to thrive. Sure, it doesn't sound nice from the outside, but we are safer with few people knowing lots of information than with many people knowing it. And not only information. I think of how governments statistically try to break down the population so that they know how to use propoganda effectively. Is it abusing in many ways to the people? - yes. Does it help keep things safer and united, however... I'd say yes.

also the Income tax, it places a direct tax which constitution DIRECTLY says is not allowed!!
and non of the states ratified it and congress never voted on it??
