Who Would of Thought?

I would have never thought that blu-ray would beat HD. I have even bought some HD's.

Oh so its official? Thats cool, I figured Blu-ray would win .
I don't see any sense in having HD DVDs then having to update to something better in another year or 2. Might as well have the best thing out right now and not have to update to something better in quite a while.

blurays are better. just another turning point. ps3's will win the console war in the end

Some people actually believe they deserve a refund for their HD DVD movies, like they didn't know that there was a chance that the HD DVDs weren't gonna lose.

I mean come on, they took a gamble and lost. They shouldn't be rewarded for losing.

I wanted HD-DVD to win. It was CHEAPER and (to me) more user friendly. Also, I SERIOUSLY doubt PS3 will win. Mostly because of the price. I think (and hope) Wii will win, 360 2nd,PS3 dead last.

Also, Microsoft is making a Blu-Ray Addon. I kno someone ignorant will say "But sony owns Blu-Ray so there is no way!" so I will say this "Microsoft owns windows...and look at the crap load of people who have got their hands on it!". Microsoft can take them to court to "share" the blu-ray info easily.

i dont think quality makes that big of a deal. i still watch VHS sometimes. a judge a movie by the storyline, not by graphics or visuale quality

bad news for you. i read in a copy of EGM that sony just won in sales over 360 one month already. 360 has so many freaking hardware problems its almost sickening. i know people who have gone through four already. and at my job at gamecrazy they are the ones that get brought back the most. Microsoft has alrready admitted publicly that they knowingly shipped defective units, thats a big hit. oh and wii isnt meeting demand.

and as for 360 getting a blue ray drive out for sale i bet they sell it for ATLEAST as much as the hd dvd drive. so there ya go another 179.99 dollar piece of equipment.

wifi adapter+hdd+battery kit+bluray drive+ core system= over 600 dollars.

I would MUCH MUCH rather pay $179 for a blu ray addon then a dang $400 Ps3 any day.

and do u mean PS3 is already beating 360? if so thats a huge lie. Sony cant physically catch up after 2 years in less then a year. I do admit Microsoft has some defective systems, but hey, everyone does.

HDD comes with the premium or Elite.
Battery kit=not a requirement (even tho nice to have)

Yea too bad the PS3 came with all teh stuff, so it would be more expensive than the PS3. If people knew that it was really cheaper with all this stuff and it didn't come with the stuff, there would have been better sales earlier on.

Ah yea Arto, I don't care much for HD or anything. I can watch VHS anytime over DVD, it makes no difference to me. I can see the change but still, i don't really care. But if I'm gaming, I'd like to have a nice picture, but gameplay is more important imo.

Why would anyone want HDVD to win?
Consoles aside, Blu-ray has more storage space and better specs than HDDVD.
Though HDVD is cheaper at the stores right now, that doesn't mean that it is easier to make in the factories.
They cost almost the exact same amount to make and thusly, they both can be sold for the same price.

not a lie. in sales for one month ps3 made more ONE month not 2 years. and dont say a couple defective systems because 30% is a LARGE number. then look at world wide sales. in japan the 360 sold less then 240,000 units. thats.... just terrible.

I would rather have an american made system any day then a japanese or chinese one. I bet it would take u longer if ur ps3 was defective to get back then if u sent in a 360.

I'm sure you don't have to send it over to Japan to get a new unit lol.
