Its the governments fault! they are the only people with enough power to say "no more polluting, etc." but they wont, because then they wouldn't make money. Down with the government

The government is not entirely to blame.

For example, in America Coal is still used for powering electric plants and America still has coal mines. Burning coal releases carbon dioxide which is a green house gass. The people working in those mines would need to find new jobs if coal were not to be used anymore so they vote into their local government whomever promises them that they will have jobs.

Well the Government actually does play a role, at least our president does.

When W got into office there was a lot of legislation that he repealed concerning global warming. There were laws that took DECADES to get on the books that W pulled so that his weathy energy cronies could make a buck at the expense of the future environment.

W refused to go along with the Kyoto treaty that was supposed to get various nations to come together to agree to curb their release of green house gasses.

So it is actually a combination of the government and a section of the public that only cares about the now instead of thinking and preparing for tomorrow.

Well... Since we humans are biotic factors in our ecosystem and we have evolved to be able to use technology and find good uses for our fossil fuels. It's the earths doing since it allowed humans to apapt to the enviroment and evolve appropriatly. Even though it is the humans making global warming worse, if the ecosystem of the earth didn't allow us to adapt and evolve we wouldn't of started global warming. It's the earths fault.

It was bound to happen anyways..

atually the pollution is all the fault of the worlds government

these f*ckers spend time passing sh*t like the Patriot Act instead of passing Acts that will stop the use of Oil and Coal and instead the use of Ethonal...
they are making billions of oil, they dont care about the people, all they care about is themselves and their families

If the government wants, it can easily fix these problems, but they rather spend their time distracting people with terrorist and stupid sh!t like that so that people dont notice the slow things that are killing use without us knowing.

Its called Judgment day, or doomsday, i forgot which ever one it is when the government kills all the people and leaves very fews, it coming, i promise :)

It is impossible so far to change from using Oil, it is simply impossible. We can't just 'stop using oil' because we can't. We don't have sufficient alternatives. And what about all the gas and diesel vehicles, we just gonna transform them into energy efficient vehicles? Becoming energy efficient sounds great on paper, but in reality it isn't quite that easy.

what i meant is that is they want to they can concentrate their power and money on finding a alternative fuel, instead of spenidng 456 billion a year on weapons to kill people, spend 5 billion to find a alternative fuel!

i bet you it wouldnt be that hard, instead of making bombs, make a better earth!
they use our f*ckin tax to kill people, i cant believe people are ok with that

There is no possible way to stop using oil. Even if we found an alternative to oil it would only be used as petrol and deisel. Every plastic is made from Oil, even rubber is made from oil. I don't think anything else has the same properties as Oil. and if we did find an alternative to oil it would cause so much trouble because we wouldn't be able to use the same method of getting Petrol and deisel etc out of the oil (Fractional distillation). I think only oil has the possibility to produce hydrocarbons that we use to make plastic, petrol and other fuels and stuff. And when we do run out of oil it's the end of fuel and plastics.

not only are plastics made form oil but alot of medicines use oil in their production...although we will never fully run out of oil there will become a time where the percentage of oil is so minimal that there will be no choice but to attempt to find an alternative and anything we cant find an alternative for will become extremely expensivee

You guys are all wrong...everyone always points fingers at pollution. It is a problem yes, but not the source of it. People are the source of the problem. Everything in this world is based on supply and demand right. So take a moment to sit back and really think this through. How many people are in the world and how rapidly is this population multiplying? Now, if the population is multiplying that would evidently lead to what....more people polluting and less resources. What we need to do is enforce a law stating that you could only have a maximum number of kids. In turn this would cause the population to shrink and have less demand for resources and also decrease the amount of pollution.
