Sound Driver Issues

hello..

Well i recently purchased a ATI 2400 PRO and 2gb of ram for my HP Pavillion a1102n. I also installed Vista 32bit onto my computer, and now i am having sound issues.. I have tried installing probably 4 different drivers for my sound card (Realtek ALC 880 chipset) and NOTHING WORKS! I get BAIRLY any sound at all! I have my speakers all the way up, my keybaord speaker buttons all the way up, the volume control on my computer is all the way up, and even all my output levels are all the way up... Im really stumped here, and am very mad...

Heres a link to a discription of my PC

Again im using the Realtek ALC 880 chipset

Obviously i need the vista driver 8) Thanks for the help!

But you do hear "sound"? right? Usually, when you first install Vista, the volume is low.

Click the bottom-right tray icon that looks like a (white) speaker. Raise the volume level if it's low. Second, I'd go into Control Panel and then "Sound". Click "Speakers" and you'll see an "Enhancements" tab. You can enable virtual surround and also enable Loudness Equalization. That should help. If it's still too low though, I can look more specifically.

Yeah, thanks for the help, but i also noticed that the audio out in my rear output wont work, i have to use the headphones jack in the front of my pc. It still hasn't gotten much louder though.
