Best Song of 2008: I Put On For My City - Young Jeezy/Kanya West
This award was hard to give because this song was neck and neck with about 10 other songs.
This song got the award because it got me crunk before football games.
Dat's f'in' ill s-word, yo.

Best Game of 2008: God of War: Chains of Olympus
No, I don't own this game, but I've played the demo about 12 times. I was gonna pick it up last week but I didn't have my ID on me so I couldn't prove my age! Anyways....
Geez! The graphics on this game are top-noch! I never really liked the GoW games on the PS2 but this one is addicting!

Best Film of 2008: Tie! Zohan and Iron Man
Wow! This was a toughy! You Don't Mess with the Zohan has got to be the funniest movie since Kung Pow, however, Iron Man has got to be the coolest action movie I've ever seen.

Biggest Looser of 2008: Jack Thomspon
Not only is he the biggest looser of 2005, 2006, and 2007, but he's also the biggest looser of 2008! Congrats! Trying to take away personal freedoms such as freedom of speech has finally disbarred you! Now you can't take anymore of our freedoms you terrorist!

Biggest Disapointment of 2008: HD-DVD
Enough said.

Zohan shouldn't be reviewed as a movie. It was meant to make you LOL/ROFL/BBQ, not give you a thrilling plot.

Oh boy, looks like this has the potential to be a long, heated thread.

My question is how can you judge anything completely just by playing a demo?

I mean, if you had played any version of GOW all the way through you would have noticed that the PSP version is a nutered version of the original two.

"Chains" was a shorter game (4 to 6 hours).
Fewer puzzles.
Fewer enemies on the screen(hardware limitation).
Fewer variety of enemies.

"Chains" was fun I admit but to me it quickly amounted to a frantic button masher with little replay value. Oh, and the trials at the end were/are next to impossible.

For these reasons I just don't think this game is GOY material.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend any other game that I have played in it's place.

Well, I think it's the differences between GoW1&2 and GoW:CoO that made it better than the other ones.
And playing a demo of it is just like playing the game. It took me 40 minutes to beat the demo the first time: The graphics were great, the cutscenes were awesome, and it really makes me want the game. It's probably the only demo to ever do that.
I downloaded the Lumines demo and played it for about 2 hours. It's the same thing as the full version, except without the other graphics or songs or backgrounds. Same thing with Chains of Olympus. I caught the main gist of the game, and that's all that I needed.

The runner-up was SSBB.
I like the first one the best, still.

Biggest disappointment= COD5, Best game of 08 to me would have to be the killzone2 beta. The K2 beta had more features than most full games, clan support for example.

I know how you feel, the previews of the movie really turned me down, it looked so stupid. But I saw it in theaters and it was actually pretty good. A really long movie too, but good.

I would have to disagree with you on a few things...

Music - Everyone has their own preferences there are thousands of tracks that could be up...for me though one of the livest tunes for 08 was Luu Breeze - Charge It To The Game

Game - Although I don't play games as much as I used to, God of War definately isn't even close to worth the title of best game of 08.

Best Film - Would have to be Batman The Dark Knight

Biggest Loser - That I would Have to give to crait just kidding. Would have to be Bush.

Biggest Disappointment - Although it was expected, I'd have to say Bush and his effect on the worlds economy.
