Open Call for News Staff - Apply Today!
Requirements:
1. Must be able to use proper grammar/ punctuation consistently.
2. No foul language on the front page.
3. All news posters are expected to have at least 1 article out per 2 days MINIMUM
4. Familiarity with Microsoft Word or another document writer is recommended.
Our news posting tool uses a form that has similar form and function to MS Word.
5. Finding articles and posting them here is perfectly fine, however, you must write
out the article yourself, and must not plagiarize from other sites. Exceptions would
include things like bulleted lists of a change log and such, but not entire articles.
If you're one of the guys or gals that have enjoyed our download section, browsed our forums endlessly, or just plain and simply would love to help the Brewology as a whole in regards to becoming a more reputable website, I personally would like to welcome you to the staff as a News Poster. Members of the forums that visit daily and have a great technical know-how about any one single topic are encouraged to respond to this thread.
If you have a PSP and know all there is to know about homebrew and custom firmware, consider this opportunity. Just the same, if you have a Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, or any other area of expertise from our selection of topics that we cover here at the Brewology, becoming a News Poster will allow you to express your technical know-how and help inform others of the newest trends in technology.
Topics we are expecting to cover include, but are not limited to, new hardware releases, new software/ game releases, what games are being planned, what homebrew is being planned or released, and much more.
We're also looking for a couple brave young forumites to step up to the plate and write "Feature Articles" for us. Feature Articles will be generally big stories that may take a little time to research and cover and may be assigned directly from the Administration Staff here at the Brewology. Things like company merges or annual sales figures or even one-on-one interviews with different developers are just some of the possibilities a Feature Article writer may be writing about. These articles will most likely be posted on every site in the Brewology and include a fancy banner directing to the Brewology homepage, to make things look very professional. This job may be ideal for people that want to help out and write news, but may not want to agree to posting a minimum of 1 article every 2 days.
If you would like to help make the Brewology a better place to stay informed about the latest trends, please respond back with whatever it is that you feel makes you a good candidate for posting news. Many positions are available.
