Can i be a wii news poster? An informal one.

Basicly i franticly check for wiihomebrew updates day in and day out. And as we haven't had updates for years in the wii section but everywhere else seems to update i wanted to ask if i could be one.
For example of how out-of-date we are.
Wii Version 4.1 has been released.
Waninkoko has made 4.1 updater
bootmii
Bannerbomb
softmii 3.0 has been released (old news)
*and some more but have a headache*

I just want to be a poster mainly because not everyone knows what sites to check etr Also i recon the other news posters have been on holiday for a few months or can't be asked anymore (sorry :/)
I don't mind if i have to up my grammar a bit more, or have to basicly copy and paste some times i just like to be of service.

A news poster:
Posts news- Hopefully 3 times a week.
Must show correct grammar to reflect the "professional" side of the site.
Must show an example copy of an article.
As of time being has a little say in the direction of the brewology. (Example: News poster gives example, mod may 2nd it, Admin approves)

Also, DPM will probably be the one to say yes or no. If i had admin i would give you a shot tho. You seem like a good enough guy.

If you do get the yes I am more then willing to show you around the "News posting station". It would be best over an IM client.

I'm back onto my computer i do realise sometimes i do get a bit frustrated with the same old questions being asked and do go a bit off the frying pan...And that sometimes i can turn a debate into a argument... But i am a active Brewology member, i recon probaly going on this site maybe 6 times a day *EASILY MORE* and checking other sites for updates etr, i remember a few weeks ago i posted softmii 3.0 with download link in the Wiibrew forum and i got a few thanks for that

Yea definitely, there isn't anyone else. Although I agree he should work on his forum etiquette.

There aren't news posters currently. There's only one plus the forum administrators I believe. I want more, however, we aren't able to keep spam out of the comments at the moment and it's quite frustrating. I created a thread to help attract news posters and only one person signed up. I want more. We need more. But nobody is willing to step up to the plate for the site that they use daily.

You're going to have a rough time with the news tool, but try to make stuff look like the previous posts, including the hyperlinks and source pages and stuff. If you copy / paste from somewhere, always link to the source. If you have questions, which you will, use my AIM.

I actually am probably a moderator because I've been here longer than the internet has been around (Lol) and I've got a lot of posts. I talked to a few people about being a moderator a long, long time ago.
