Question About "Ati Hybrid Graphics"

I have never dealt with Ati before. And im doing a budget upgrade for my Pc. and im planning on getting an Ati card with my Amd mobo. And I read something about using the On board gpu and the card at the same time. Sorta like Nvidias SLI from what I understand. But I heard it has it limits. So my question is will this video card be able to run with this intergraded GPU?

Motherboard: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?CategoryID=1&TypeID=43&DetailID=866&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=123&LanID=0

Video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102844

Thanks

As far as I know the only chipset that utilizes what your talking about is the AMD 780. And that board has the 780G so I don't see why it wouldn't work. But I have no idea why you would want to buy a ECS mobo, and one with integrated video to begin with. What your doing is like trying to combine two pennies, when you could instead just get a nickle.

Personally I don't think there is any point in the ati hybrid technology anymore. If your going to play video games then you will need something better anyways then a 3650 but to watch movies or videos then the 3650 is all you will need. So imo thats just wasted performance that could've been spent on a better video card/ cheaper mini-atx mobo.

Playing light games. Nothing too intense. does not need to look amazing just something to play most modern games on low to medium with a playable frame rate

I just bought the same brand ATI sapphire graphics a few days ago. A 4650 I think, $50.

I don't know if it's compatible for you or anything though.

Well then if I were you I would probably get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102838 and a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131391 since I wasn't sure on your price restrictions. The video card should play about any recent video games on low/medium settings, and the mobo supports AM3 processors which the other ECS didn't so that's good.

Hope that helped guide you a little bit more :p
