It's all SDRAM dude, DDR1 SDRAM, DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM, and Proposed DDR4 SDRAM. The notch placement goes along with either DDR1, DDR2, or DDR3.

Also, why are you talking about laptop ram if we were talking about desktop ram? If your refering to SDR SDRAM why not actually type that?

Clearly that statement is still wrong. Last time I checked DDR3 is still being produced, and is Synchronous dynamic RAM.

How can you tell what your specs are if you're on a Mac?

I do not want to start a new topic and all...

Why is my Available memory way less than the total?

Available Physical Memory 752.93 MB

Oh and sorry to double post

Exactly. The system itself uses some.

Now, il confuse you a little more-

Say you place a 120GB HD on a system running Mac OSX Leopard. Would upgrading to OSX Snow leopard make that value change (excluding the size of the OS itself).

To answer this question in short- Yes.

Long- OSX snow uses a different way of calculating free space on a disk then OSX and Windows computers.
