exactly what the topic says what is your favorite sport and team? mine is Rugby hands down my team is the Irish National Union Team.

psh Diehard Rugby has you beat, there's not a single match that is played where theres not at least one substitution for one injury or another. i love it it's brutal and extremely violent plus it's origins date back to the crusades and was originally played with severed heads now if that's not hard core idk what is.

But they don't have sharp blades flipping through the air , Do you know how hard it is to fight on ice? lol. Does rugby even condone fighting?

I'm not saying it isn't violent, I've heard some gruesome stories, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying we play wanting to hurt someone else - Kinda bloodthirsty.

P.S. Originally Canada played hockey with a frozen cow pie, now THAT is brutal. (poor goalie)

actually no they don't which kinda sucks cause you get England facing off against Ireland and let's just say they don't call Rugby fans Hooligans for nothing. and i'll give you that Hockey is pretty brutal. when we first got dial up internet waaay back in the day my mom met some people from Toronto on yahoo and they became real good friends our families swapped stuff through the mail and me and my brother got invited to go up there and go hunting with them, but anyways a few years back right before the hockey strike they sent us 2 official pucks one for me one for my brother with the Toronto Maple Leafs i think it was Stanley cup win anyways after holding that puck in my hands i can imagine it hurling towards me and i got kinda scared.

No kidding, man. I played baseball as I was growing up because I had no problem at all getting hit by the baseball then I did a hockey puck. Those things are brutal.

yeah i know there was a death a few years ago where the puck broke the glass barrier and hit a girl in the face and killed her.

Football...kick. catch. run. touchdown. back and forth. repeat

Soccer...kickoff. kick up and down the field. score. repeat.

Basketball...tipoff. Dribble. Shoot. Throw back in. Repeat.

Once again, Hockey is my #1, there's always something new and interesting, every game.

same with Rugby you never know who is gonna get the ball out of the scrum (although if Ireland is playing it's usually Ireland you can't screw with Mike O'Driscoll ) it's one hell of a sport and i love it.
