Firebase Alternatives in China?
Hi Everyone!
My dev team typically employs Firebase for different projects. However, we noticed Firebase and other Google services don't work for Chinese websites and applications. Therefore, we are searching for Firebase alternatives that work in China.
We found that Back4app effectively handles Chinese projects, and we probably need to fill out their 'China Hosting Form.' However, as new Back4app users, we still want to explore its key features and pricing structure more.
On the other hand, my team is also considering Amazon Web Services (AWS) for our forthcoming Chinese projects. Mainly, AWS Amplify could be a full-stack solution for hosting our applications. However, I am somewhat confused about its free-tier offerings. I heard putting credit card details before employing AWS functions is necessary. Is it true?
Also, does AWS charge anything from a credit card when you are on a free trial?
