CD rom

What do I do when my cd rom drive no longer accepts discs? when i installed the latest version of i-tunes i lost all use of my cd rom drive. how do i get it to work again? do i need to download something?

I would try turning off your computer completely and removing and replacing your CD-drive. Just pull it out, and slide it back in. Maybe it came loose.
