It deletes all the cookies the board has stored on your computer, I.E. what brent said.

yeah, hey how about a button that makes all the unread topics marked as "read"? i hate seeing all the new topics i dont want to read...

There is a "Mark Forums Read" button at top of the forums or at the top-right of the index page...
