No connection to microsoft sites.

if it's ANYTHING to do with microsoft it doesn't let me connect to it.

Being, Zune, MSN, etc.. IT just says page cant be displayed..

I looked in my hosts file and there isn't any IP's in there to be stopping it.. and its really annoying.

Firefox used to do this. See if you can access those sites under IE and if so update your browser.

If Micro$oft comes up you have an issue with DNS reset your modem or router.

Decided to scrap it..

IT opens them in safe mode IE malware.
