When you do you need to get a mighty mouse as well, its simply the best mouse ie ever used.

true, ive used it in stores, but i havnt had one myself. I like the mighty mouse, especially with its right click

but one question, could the roller be used as a scroller like on PC mouses?

lol yeh its lookin a bit poor & old, u need a g5 or g7 mouse those are AWESOME i got the mouse identical to the g7 but mine is silver:D

Any generation under the intel (the G3-5's) all have 1 click mouse. Though they look ever so nice and awsome, they only have one click. Which would kill me when using windows xp on my mac. So i need that new mighty mouse, since it has both right and left click.

2 button mice worked on the G3s and G4s just fine, they just didnt come with the computer. The mighty mouse's ball works better than a PCs scroll dial in that it not only scrolls up and down but 360 degrees allowing you to move right and left as well as diagnally. ot essentially has 4 buttons although they arent all buttons. pressiing in the ball opens your widgets, squeezing the two sides moves all the windows so you can see everything that is open at once, pressing the left side left clicks and pressing the right side right clicks. you can program them to perform different functions and keep the left control click as a right click like the one button mice had. Also putting xp on the mac isnt such a great idea. Microsoft windows leaves you open to viruses, trojans, spyware, etc, on a mac just as it does on a PC. Leave it just with tiger so you dont have to worry about such things.

True the viruses do not interact with tiger osx but they can affect files on the xp partition causing all sorts of hard drive problems. I suspect disk utility could handle repairing that partition from the osx side but if you get something nasty enough to screw that partition good luck replacing the hard drive. Minis are a b**ch to open.
