Gimp Pains

ah I can't figure this out to save my life, I spent a few minutes making this sig, but for some reason it comes out like crap... can anyone help me with this cuz I couldn't figure i out to save my life! Heres the pic



as you can see the slashes remain in place, I can fix the speed but I can't seem to get rid of the slashes.Someone help me please!

you slashes might appear in other layers.. try to knock that layer out when you move on to the next later..

example:

image would move: 1234445556 (as you can see the 4 and 5 repeates itself though more than 1 layer) delete the 4 and 5 and you get 123456, thats the problem you are having.. I am sure of it.

*Edit* I tried what you said and heres how it came out...Not perfect but definetly better!

yea i understand that cause its in photoshop but i am not sure gimp works the same way!
