Well, Arto, you're under 17 years old, so if you incur criminal charges, it's definitely not the end of the world. I'm not too sure about other states, but here in Michigan (which Arto recently moved to) your whole juvenile record gets wiped clean unless you were tried as an adult for something. If fighting is the way it has to go, then if you're confident about it, and think that's the only way, then go for it. I mean, once you turn 18, POOF, your record is as clean as the day you were born.

You COULD opt to take the other road, which if you don't want to fight, and sense that your "friend" really wants to fight, you could talk to a teacher or principal. By LAW in Michigan, they're supposed to report any criminal activity by the students. You could say that he is harassing you, picking/ messing around with you, and you think he's going to assault you. By the end of that discussion, you will have already won without a punch.

If you choose option two, don't worry about looking like a pansy or anything. The teacher(s)/ principal will word it like, "a concerned friend of Arto's/ Arturo's (w/e) has come to us because they sense hostility between you two." -> something like that.

Last option - take a 2-3 hour south-eastern drive to my place and introduce me to him

lol that last part made me laugh. acyualy a teacher found out and he got in HUGE trouble and nothing happened to me. so now he got a lot of people to hate me and hes gonna try jumping me after school. (right now im in my 5th period class) he try whatever he wants cuz i have so many people on my side; cripps. but anyway im hoping that the whole thing will blow ever cuz i hate drama.

i would but once u get in u cant get out and if there's a gang fight u gotta be there and there's guns and sh**. im just gonna try to drop it but its hard cuz this kid is such a b**** and keeps trying to fight me
