god this sucks i tried to call the old tech shop in my town the got shut down a month before it happened and i just got information that before they shut down there were going to start doing like discount "fix-it-up" jobs on psp's because they understood the whole firmware=homebrew thing.coincidence, i think not more breaking news is that gathering information revealed that the day that they were shut down was the exact same day month later when my screen broke. freaky. for those of you who dont understand what that means here is a expanation.
