well the ps3's video card tops out at 120 frames per second where the 360's is like 60 or 90. smoother game play for the ps3

ps3 is gonna be cooler because xbox to xbox 360 was basically nothing but a better graphix engine and hard drive: ps2 to ps3 is gonna be soo sweet its gonna have way more feartures

PS3 is said to loose a billion dollars the first year. I think theres an artical on it at www.ign.com. I just know that i saw it somewhere.

no, i dont think its a billion. Havent you noticed that statistics are never right? Well, thats nothing compared to the original xbox, which lost 4 billion. Talk about major pain. Thought losing a few million, bill gates wouldnt mind, but 4 billion is a huge chunk for him. I just dont know why he would want to continue xbox. 360 should lose more.

according to Sony press conference, each PS3 machine sold, Sony is going to lost roughly $100 on each unit. Due to the high initial cost of manufacturing these consoles.

But, as time goes on, and costs on these machine drops, Sony will then recover their losts with years to come, and also on game producers.

So, yes, Sony will be losing Millions in their first few runs of the console, but we can not predict an actual number at this point becuase WE DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH THE SYSTEM WILL BE SELLING FOR.
Also it is mention that the system will be having a price tag of around $400-$500.

As for my vote, its PS3 all the way baby...think of Cell, Blu-Ray, 7 wiress controllers, your own EYETOY broadcast channel, and newly implemented LIVE community, thats far beyong xbox live.

yeah man they cant overprice it so much especially since the hype over ps3 isnt exactly driving ppl to preorder it as much as sony would like them to. so the price WILL have to be low considering that they will have to pwn the market share over 360 which has already made an early entry and has been more or less effective n capturing the ppl's minds...

and the funny thing about the 360 is that they are losing more than $125 (orignal xbox loss for each system) for each system they sell. And you know what? they arent making any profit back cause as you mentioned, the company will recover its profit with years to come. But mircosoft isnt gaining any profit casue they cant keep up with supply and demand. HAHA. I laugh at mircosoft.

As for the cool features of the PS3, i really would like the location free utility, cause now, i can finaly watach TV on my psp while sitting on the toilet!!!! "JERRY" "JERRY"!!!

My friends all like Xbox and say its better. They have no facts to back it up. It makes me mad. So im asking you to vote and i'd like to know what the world thinks.

Its funny how it makes you mad that they have no facts to back their statement up when its unlikely that anyone outside of japan will be picking up a PS3 until 2007. How can you say either is "better", especially at this point?

ha ha yeah but i read up somewhere that xbox has problems in hardware such as with its power pack ans stuff... did you know its recommended not to be kept on the floor or the carpet? Now dont flame me, i din make that rule... seems that some ppl had weird problems otherwise... maybe we can string it from the ceiling so it touches nothing

Its not 1000, its probably going to be 400 to match the price of the X box. The problem is it costs 900 to make. But what i "HEARD" is that is coming out September now because it will be cheaper to make....
