No, when you have patched over (all mods patch over the xboxlive) so its inpossible.
If you look at necrofiles post you can still go online, just not with live.
Anyways back on topic,

By doubling your memory you increase the performance of emulators and enable linux to run smoother and faster if you decide to run that at all. It also helps with cashing streaming media which can be accessed when runniing many of the scripts availble through Xbox Media Center (probably the best homebrew xbox app out there).Mailas G wrote:in_da_house wrote:Mailas G wrote:Yes I used to have it but thats not what Im talking about.

Mailas, Ive already said it multiple times. You CAN go on Xbox Live with a modded xbox as long as you have a decent chip. I don't know where you are getting your information from but you are completely wrong. All the xboxes that I play on xbox live with are chipped with hard drives ranging from 120GB to 250GB and 320GB. The catch is if you had previously played on Xbox Live then upgrade your hard drive the EEPROM on your motherboard will no longer match that on your hard drive when compared with the hard drive's serial number which is recorded when you first sign on with that xbox. To easily get around this all you need to do is change your EEPROM (which takes all of 2 minutes to do) using an xbox app called config magic and make sure you lock your new hard drive from your chip's BIOS menu (takes about 10 seconds to do). If you don't know what you are talking about don't give out incorrect information.
