To be honest...I don't respect someone based on their title. I respect them based on how helpful they are. Cause (figuratively speaking) someone could easily just spam to get 2000 posts to get a title such as brew guru. In which case their knowledge of the psp may be somewhat of a nubrewer. I'd say about 95% of my post counts were from helping people before i became a mod, i didnt really bother responding to normal discussion topics.

I've only asked for help with one thing on this forum... All my other time I dedicated to helping other psp lovers out there, because over the course of a year and a half with my psp, I have learned everything I want to know about how to do things by other people helping me. So I'm just returning the favor, and I know what it's like to want to do something so bad, but you dont know how. So Here I Am! Ask me anything and I will Help! That's what I'm here For!

well what if you have a rep for helping ppl and you have a high status wouldn't that be respected most mods I've seen are always willing to help although staxx has a point, that would rarely happen

I say diehard sounds like mod material

Anyone can say "I try to help people all the time". Sure you could try and help people. But my big problem with a lot of newbs trying to help people is that 25% of the time they give someone the wrong information. In which case they trying to help is just making the situation worse. If you want to be respected on the forum don't go around immediately trying to help as many people as you can. I think the same goes for the saying "Quality not Quantity". Try to learn all you can and make sure your giving the person the right information and quality posts, instead of just 5 word solutions. If you want respect on the forum just learn a lot and try and help people as long as you know what your talking about. Post a lot of quality posts and we will respect you. And don't break rules.

O sorry, if I made that post sound like that's what you got to do to be a mod, then that wasn't the case. If we need mods we can appoint them. No one needs to be asking if you can be a mod ;)

It's not the religion that causes wars, it's the men who use religion as a means to control people that do.

I don't care if you don't need any more staff, I'm still never going to stop helping people. And that can never be a bad thing!

what do you mean? read my post up there! I'm here to help people! Not because I would feel special and powerful becoming a mod, I don't really care, but for you to even say that... how does that help PSPbrew? what are you here for? why did you make this thread?
