Usually we dont pay attention about rumors and sh*t talks, but this time we really think we have to make a little official annoucement.

About the downgrader keep in mind that it's will be a dangerous process to reflash the psp, so we have to be 100% sure that we wont release a version with bugs that will mass brick psp all over the world!! we hope you can understand it !!

so for all of you that have been sitting playing halo 2 online and jumping up after every game to refresh the wab page and surf through other sites to look for any new information on downgrade....cough**cough**cough.......well anyway, heres a little more info

It has a pretty good browser, it loads fast and has a good layout for it. I think you need a plugin to get sounds on a page (like firefox) but other than that it is good. I think it has a few bugs, and sometimes it will say not enough memory and you have to restart your browser =\. I was browsing pspbrew.com on it the other day to test it out and it was working nice.

well that sounds pretty cool, hopefully this downgrade comes out soon. i wonder if there'll ever be any way to use pspbrew stuff on the higher versions. i dunno why its such a big deal anyway, its not like they're losing money because of pspbrew.com so i dunno why they're so uptight about it.

A video of WAB version changer has confirmed that version 2.0 of the psp firmware is now downgradable! Check it out on pspupdates.com for the video. I am so updateing, but gonna wait for some feed back before i do.

this sucks its still not out, i'm wondering if the 2.0 is worth uprading to, cause i can't do emulators right now anyway, i'm at 1.52, so if this downgrader doesn't come out soon i might just upgrade anyway just to see what that browser is like.

It's just a general web browser. Nothing special. It's not worth sacrificing your homebrew programs for it. But since they may release the 2.0 downgrader and you already have 1.52 I'd say go for it.

I was going to upgrade to the 2.0 because I don't know, things was getting boring!...but yeah, soon we are going to have the WAB downgrade thing, so that should be good. And the browser thingy for 2.0 and 1.50..I can't say nothing because I've never tried out the browser for 2.0

you have nothing to lose then.... although I highly doubt that updating and putting programs on your psp (like the rest of us do) would result in breaking your psp.

how can an unsafe program brick your psp. wouldnt there be someway to format it off your psp. just like with a computer.
