In my opinion it would be pointless for sony to take legal actions. Because without custom firmware i would consider my psp a waste of money and would never look or recommend anyone to buy one. All the hackers are doing is just increasing the amount of sales for the psp consoles.I mean the reason i chose to buy one was the fact that you can run almost every system made on it. Also from people fully bricking their psp it increases sales of the unit for sony. Anyhow it's good that they finally got a spotlight in the news for their hard work and much appreciated accomplishments. :D

asddasit wrote:Well (not sue if this is true for the PSP but im guessing it is) most video game console makers money come in form the games they sell, the systems they actualy lose money on. xbox lost abou 100 dollars per system they sold (first xbox) and they ony way they made money was from they games. and even that wasnt enough ,every year they lost 1.000.000 dollars.
And with custom firmware opening doors for pirates you can understand how they would be mad about it.

exactly what I was going to say just to lazy to type it.

Also with the PS3 they lose money for each unit sold.
