yo i got a 2nd psps with the umd drive is **CK up (it waz free)
took me 2 hours to downgread it useing thr GTA hack lol
diz would work perfectly on it

i recomend this mod to anyone who plays retro games. i have every sega, snes, nes game on my psp and still have 20 gigs left

and do the blue madden PSP's work with this mod, and the red GOW ones?

There are some 2000 version psp's with the new motherboard inside. My friend here in Japan got a new metallic blue one and it was ok. I think the deal breaker is if you get a new psp and it has the 4.00 firmware preinstalled there's a good chance that it isn't pandora compatable.

On a side note, I finally got my 16gb cards. It is friggin awesome! I've got tons of games loaded on, and it's loads of fun.

is there any way to know from the box if it is pandorizable? and is taking the back off of a slim easier than a fat?

well this mod cant be done on a phat period.

id say getting a GOW psp is safe. or a silver one. avoid new black ones. dunno about blue and best bet is a used system

and i meant is taking a slim apart easier than a phat?

Thats all in the preference of the person. Lots of people like the slim better, some people say theyre harder for certain mods... I dont mind either of them though.
