Sorry to hear that you have no appreciation for the game. I have never met anyone that had such a distaste for GOW. Oh well, to each his own. Just out of curiosity what kind of games do you like?

I made a post in this thread about some of my favorite old games. I don't know what it is about the classics, I just love them. I'm a child of 1988 and also of parents that don't have the extra dollar and a half to spend [on whim] for a newer system. I remember having a paper route and saving up to buy a Gameboy Color (green )... Man I loved that thing. In fact, that's the big reason I bought a PSP in the first place, because I knew that I loved my Gameboy Color for everything it was worth, and it was a portable also.

But those aren't what I'd call my favorites of all time. I like games like Resident Evil, Splinter Cell, Tekken, Parasite Eve (surprised not to see a newer one), Gran Turismo... idk, games like that. It would take a while to list my favorites of all time, but I think I may try to do that sometime.

Still, games like Defender, Galaga, Joust, Pacman, Hang On, Kangaroo... it just doesn't get any better than what you were raised on.

Playing right now GOW for PSP, I am right now stuck with the two girls, I must press the buttons in order to bang away, I get that, but there is this move I think I must make with the Analog stick, but I don't have it right, please tell me how am I suppose to move the stick so I can make those circular arrows? Thanks a bunch.

you have to move the analog ALL THE WAY to the side and press hard when making the circular movements.

Thanks, after several attempts, I decided to just move on--have no idea what goodies I was gonna get or see if I would have passed that part. Anyone know how I can go back to the hot chicks? LOL!

I am right now at a level where I am inside a cave, and I must climb the walls and ceiling, but I then get to the an upper level, where I don't know where I am suppose to go. If I try to return back, I'll fall in the lava. Anyone know where I am suppose to go from here? I keep pressing Select, but it doesn't tell me which world or level I am in.

The only stairs I see is above the mountain cliffs, and their broken up. Usually the button O will appear if I have to hold something. But I don't see where I am suppose to go from here. I think I am gonna have to read a walkthrough, to at least tell you where I am at.

Update
I don't know what I was doing wrong, but there is a section that I must jump to get at a another cliff, but I couldn't do it before, because I would fall. Now I double-jumped, and was able to get to the next area where I thought I couldn't go.

Okay I am now at the Ruins of Asphodel I was able to find the marker where I can save the game. Damn! took me forever to figure on why I could make that huge leap.. lol

Okay, now I am fighting this hag where she has like a stick with some green circles that she throws at me, and after she gets on top of this section (looks like an ancient boat) and she sends me this green power against me and she gains power again by her life indication underneath the game (yellow bar).

How do I destroy her? I keep sending her fire hits and nothing really destroys her?? Help??

Well, I have died several dozen times, but it keeps coming back!?? What am I doing wrong?

I block when she is hitting me with her stick (L), then I send back the green balls back to her with (L), then when she is not attacking I hit her with [], then when she goes up there to reenergize herself, she keeps coming back. There are many times when she doesn't hit me, I am blocking and fighting back like an expert, but when she goes back up there, she comes back. What's up???

The reason for this is that you get to fight that creature a 2nd time and this time you do get to win and chop off it's head!

I see. Games like that always make me pissed off, but eventually glad that I didn't get a "game over" or anything. The ones that really piss me off are the ones that are too hard to tell that you're supposed to lose or not...
