NEED big paypal help!

okay heres the story

1. i had a auction for a psp and it sold for about 170 dollars
2. the buyer sent payment really quick to my paypal account
3. i wanted to withdraw the money so i asked for a check so now there was no more money in the account balance
4. the auction was cancelled and he wants a refund and they REVERSED my check and the payment from the person is HELD
5. he wants a refund and he filed a dispute and now it turned to a claim? he wants a refund but i dont have any money under my account balance and i dont know how to give him a refund.
6. i dont have his money since i put it all in a check which was reversed and i didnt ship the item.
7. what do i do!

How was the auction cancelled if he already payed for it?

So you still have your PSP, and you have the money he paid for it? or what? im confused but it sounds pretty messed up.

he had the money and he has a psp and now the buyer thinks he got ripped off but ebay f-ed up and reversed his check so now he has the psp but no money. and i'd go tell em to get la*d for all i care cuz i woulnd pay outta my pocket. some sorta transaction glitch, no?

i have the psp still i was going to send it but they cancelled everything but he already paid for it.
i want to give him a refund but the money on my account is being held ( the money he sent) how do i give him a refund?

So you do have the money, but its just being held? Call paypall and ask what the deal is, and if you can just put the X amount of money he paid for it in your paypall bank account and send him that money. All of this is best communicated over the phone.

yeah i didnt send the psp i was but i found out they cancelled it.
