Why did you go CFW?

I've been wondering what the main draw is for CFW, so I'm setting up a poll.
Was it emulation, cool homebrew games; extra functionality?

All of the above, when my psp wasn't bricked.

I did it because I do not own a PS3 and wanted to play classics I do own like Einhander on the go.

I was bored and didnt feel like paying 40 bucks a game

Why? Why not?

Very simple question, FREE GAMES as many as I want. Dont care much 4 the themes or homebrew.

I'm doing it for emulation/ some of the homebrew.

I don't know really what the good apps are, any suggestions?

i like Emulation and the use of ISO's and PSx eboots

if the N64 emulation every reaches a very playable state, i'm sure that that will be a major draw for some people.

hm i just did it to do it to be honest. i play games but not hardcore. i enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to mod a console. how to mod anything really. i even mod nerf guns

I started using homebrew when I found out about SNES emulators and such (Huh, that was 3 years ago...).
Now, I'm an Experenced Brewer ^_^

heh thats a little before my time i always start at wikipedia when beginning a project though.

i started my descent into psp brewing about a year ago
