Final Fantasy tactics: War of the Lions

So my goal was to have dual wielding Samuri's, but it seems i cant use their abilities. I have the samuri with the highest level katana equiped, but all of its abilities are greyed out and unuseable. Any ideas to make it work? Ive had two chars go samuri to see if it was just one, but its both

Also, i sent 3 people out on assignment before act 2, and i continued the story line and unable to go back before act 2 ended. Now when i go back i can send three more out, and the three i did still say "unavailable". Cant dismiss them or change anything on them. Any advice on that note?

edit: its a CSO atm, but i havent tired the iso that i have for it.

Hey salz i was looking at your PSP History I was wondering why you downgraded to 3.71 M33 instead of 3.90? is 3.71 like...Awesome?

I was going to sell that psp, but i figure 2 is better than one. I'll bump it up to 4.01 sometime like the slim.
i downgraded it to just mess around and see if i could get other features to work that werent going right on 3.90. But i guess i was using the wrong brew for 3.xx kernel.
Just practicing making MMS w/ DCv3, 4 and 5. Cant be too careful when one will brick.

also, its the fw ive used the most, so it was a confort level also. Each of the higher fw can usually do the stuff a lower one can (of course there are exceptions)
