New psp's arent pandorizable

so i just read something that newer psp's are losing the ability to run Pandora and some CFW b/c of a new motherboard and cpu or something. Apparently the IPL's for some of these programs wont run on them.

I'm thinking that they just changed up the eeeprom that the batteries need to make the PSP read off the memory card.
Or maybe the memory card is the problem!? :D

EDIT:
Hee hee. Sony was even smarter than that!
The card needs a Sony signiture.

$ony and Micro$oft are just dumb, add $print and Verizon in that pot too!

I would never have bought an Xbox, PSP or certain model cell phones if it weren't for their homebrew capability. It's the convenient secondary uses of these devices that got me interested in the homebrew scene to begin with.

the homebrew part is great for them, they just don't like people running backups.
