Problem with PSP Memory Stick - Help

I have a 1.5 PSP. I had a bunch of emus and homebrew games on it, but then today when i was adding a lot of characters to the super smash, i exited out of psp usb mode, and then went to the memory stick games. In the folder there was nothing anymore. I then hooked the psp back up to the computer, and there wasn't anything in the game folder anymore. Then I formated my memory stick and tried to acess the psp from the computer again... This time the PSP would only let me open anything, and the computer would only let me get into the folder if I formatted the memory stick with the computer, so I did. Once I formated it, there was nothing the PSP folder anymore, it was all empty... I had the memory stick files also copied to my computer, so i just copied them back to them memory stick so now it had the psp folder with the games, pictures, and music and everything else in it... Now, I went to the brewpack generator to get everything back. It all worked and got it loaded onto the psp. Now, all the icons show up in the memory stick game folder, but none of the games work...I always get this error: The game could not be started. (80020130). Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

UPDATE - One or two of the games do work out of about the 20 I put on, so the memory stick does work, I just need to get the other games/emus to work...

80020130 = file read error

-You have got the file error, meaning that either the files you put in your memory stick was an error or you used the SEI tool to hide your corrupt files, dragged it to your PC desktop and saved it and then dragged it back to your PSP/GAME folder.

-What I say you do now is delete everything that is in your PSP/GAME folder and re-download everything again from the packs that you had before, and this time, extract it DIRECTLY into your PSP.

ok i just started right now... i reformated my memory card and now am going to put everything on at just one at a time. I just put on super smashgp, and it worked (it didn't before). I just added two other characters and it worked too. I will keep you updated at what happens with all of the other emus/games i downloaded and tell you if they work - do you know how everything on my memory stick could have gotton deleted - i didn't reformat it or delete it?

i bet you were putting some stuff into your PSP like games etc. and while it was still transferring stuff from your PC to your PSP, you probably disconnected the USB when it was right in the middle of transfering files over, and that's what might have caused it...

-That's just a theory though, you might have done something else to have this problem but I don't see how all of a sudden everything would of just deleted itself...
