This happened to me once when I was downgrading someone else's PSP. You might have a low battery level, try plugging the AC adaptre into your PSP and turn it back on. If that doent work, Leave on the charger for about 15-30 mins. After that and still won't turn on, I'm afraid to say but you have a brick.
my PSP hasn't really bricked and I'm not planning on it too. I would love to help you answer your questin, but like I said, I don't have a bricke PSP so I don't know the answer to that rumor question, sorry.
take out the battery and put it back in plug charger in and start it up and it that dont work well you now have the most expensive paperweight avavaible
i think i fidured out whats wrong. Whenever you start your psp up you get the little chime and the sony computer thing then it goes to the psp i believe that i might have deleted that when i accidentaly clicked that button so now it wont boot to the menu screen.
