Anybody know how I can upload an avatar under my user name?

you have to do it in you profile.

Yes, you need to go into the my profile - in the colum under the PSPBREW.COM logo, and then at the bottom, you see see a space that will let you browse through your pictures and select your avatar. Just save it there to your profile and then it should show up!

make sure your avitar doesn't go over the limit of 6KB.
