Don't update higher than 2.00, or else your screwed.... I had a 1.5 psp but it broke and i returned it for a new one... The new one had 2.1 and it seems that a downgrader is never coming.

well i would just skip on the media program if i were u because there have been recent advancements in the world of 1.5 such as playing gta and so on. Now i know what u mean about the games being expensive because i dont have alot of money either but u can download games(isos) and play them off of ur memory stick if u have like a 256mb or higher and not have to worry about paying $50 a pop. As far as the media program gos there is alot of hombrew out there that has the same functions and better like and of the shell programs like psp-oss and so on which run on 1.5 and make ur psp look really cool. So i suggest that u stick with 1.5 and if u need the website to download isos just pm me and i will be more then happy to give it to u.
