I need help someone has to have an answer

big problem this is what happens when i try to use psp now with usb WHY!!!!!!!! it worked fine before?

one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it . for assistance in solving the problem please click here"

I went through all the motions of troublshooting in the device manager it stated that the drivers were not installed for the device(PSP). I have done everything short of sacraficing a chicken to get this thing to work.

Yes I've used other Devices/hardware in my USB ports and No I'm not running a pirated version of XP.
I've also attempted to hook-up a different PSP through my USB with the same results.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. WHERE CAN I GET THESE DRIVERS?

I have this same problem k heres what you do: attach your psp and put it in usb mode. then restart your comp, thentake the psp out of usb mode, when it reaches the xp loading menu. then when you re-log back in try it again... it should work.

Yeah you probably need to restart your PC first. It did this to me too one time. It kind of has a little bit of trouble

I hate it when windows starts acting up cos it gets the weirdest of problems! Anyways, if nothing works, a good ol reformat is always good for the ol PC!
