Probs with 4gig hard drive

Hi guys i av just bought a 4 gig hard drive now cos i am new to all this stuff but tried to listen and understand i thought i would ask anyway firmware on psp is 1.5 the 4 gig drive hard drive has fastloader 0.7 but i tried to put a mpeg4 on it following the tutorial on here and made sure i put it in the right place but the psp says no videos now on the original card you have all the folders on there that should be there but on the hdd there is only the fastloader files and the psp folder are the original folders like on the original card supposed to be there

an mpeg 4 video? did you put it in ms0:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01?

the hard drive had only the fastloader on it none of the original files so i dragged them off the original card and put it in the right folder it works but out of sync and stuttering could that be the encoding

Your not putting the movie file in it right.
I guess when you got the hard drive fast loader came with it.
Listen, on the hard drive, its similiar to a memory stick but Il walk you through it, when you are inside the main factor of the hard drive (this is the root like in mem sticks) there should be a folder. It should be PSP.
You should have another folder along with that (not inside) called MP_ROOT
Inside MP_ROOT you should put another folder called 100MNV01. In there, you should put your converted MPEG4 video. TO convert your videos for PSP format, use pspvideo9.
Encoding has nothing to do with it.
That should help.
