Finished my latest Xbox

I just finished my latest xbox. I put a 128MB RAM upgraded v 1.4 motherboard in an official LE crystal case. Installed an Xecuter 3 as well as a crystal control pannel. I soldered two rapid colorchanging LEDs in each controller port, four in the clear controller dongle, and the LED ring I made with 12 LEDs that slowly fade and change 7 different colors. I had a spare 120GB hard drive that I just threw in there until I have a little more money to spend. In total I now have over 1TB worth of hard drive space in all my xboxes combined. The old lady is happy im finally done with this one.

actually Im up to 10 now lol. And by skins I assume you are talking about those big sticker or static cling sheets that people put pn their xboxes? Ive never owned one of those. I alwasy thought they looked kind of dumb.

why do you need so many xboxes also are you willing to sell 1 for cheap? my bros goin to college and hes takin ours with him so im out a xbox

I suppose you could say its "psychadellic". Each LED in the ring can turn more than one color at once the controller port and dongle LEDs change colors extremely rapidly, and the eject button light cycles from blue to pink/purple to red. Plus there are all the lights on the pro switch and the LCD screen.

And to answer the_end_is_near, I am currently only really using 5 of my xboxes 4 of which are limited edition sysetms (two green halo2's, a japaneese kasumi blue, and a Canadian Crystal edition), I chipped all of them. Three are in the livingrooom (different stuff on each HDD), one in the den, and one in the bedroom that my gf err..wife plays emulators on from time to time. Two of the others I bought as broken and havent had a chance to open yet, one I bought as broken (someone screwed up their softmod) and I fixed it with a DuoX2 modchip, A friend gave me a 1.6 to mod then he didnt have money so told me to keep it since he got a 360, and I had gotten a good deal on some Xecuter 2 modchips which are in two other xboxes. I will likely sell the DuoX2 modded one pretty cheap as it can't go on live and I was lazy and just threw a bunch of apps and emus that have since been updated on the stock hard drive (maybe $125 shipped in the US). It has cables but no controller. The Xboxes with the Xecuter2's Ill sell for $160 shipped (cables, no controller, 20GB HDD), and I have a spare Xecuter 3 chip (the best kind) and a spare Xecuter 2.6 chip which I can install for a reasonable price.

Xbox live works perfectly fine if you have a good chip installed. For example the Xecuter 2's and 3's allow you to enable or disable the chip. In fact if you try to sign onto say halo2 accidently and have your Xecuter3 chip on the chip wont allow you to connect to Xbox Live's server (you can still go online with Xlink kai, XBconnect, linxbox, or Fire fox as well as FTP or stream off the internet with it enabled though). It prevents you from accidently banning yourself by signing onto Xbox live with your chip on and when it is off you can connect to xbox live just as if it wasnt modded at all.

YeaIl get Xlink Kai, it works the best for me.
