Thanks for that psp uncharger.
Umm gamecast, Im guessing you're PSP is a non TA-082 motherboard from you're last post, so heres the downgrader:
Downgrader for 2.5/2.6 NON TA-082 Motherboards Here!
Next, what I want you do to is get something as stated in Punchargers post called custom firmware.
You don't need this, because I can see that the downgrader is you're main priority right now, so after you have downgraded, I STRONGLY reccomend you read ahead.
Custom firmware is very good for PSP needers like you. It can be very useful too.
There is only one kind of custom firmware which is called POC: The Proof of Concept: By
Dark Alex.
But the thing is, there are patches to the custom firmware. The one I believe is the best would be Harley G's Patch for the POC.
---------------------------------------
Before I go any further, here is why I suggest getting harley g's custom firmware mod for 1.5 psps:
The reason would be mainly because you can easily un brick you're PSP by using the Recovery option as stated in puncharger's post above.
Thus, enabling you to un brick you're PSP, if whats so ever it gets bricked
(ONLY IN 1.5 FIRMWARE MODE, NO EMULATION FIRMWARES)
---------------------------------------
Heres some more reasons why you should get custom firmware:
Configuration and recovery mode
* New style and menu/sub menus
* Clockspeed configuration
* USB mode
* Update vshmain.prx and recovery.elf
* Remove patch
* Launch update eboot
* Replace index.dat
Other
* No kxploit (Can run 1.0 formatted eboots)
* No annoying corrupt icons
* No intro
Controls (while booting):
* WLAN switch down: Loads devhook
* WLAN switch up: Loads XMB
* HOLD on: Loads configuration and recovery mode
* X: Launches autoboot eboot
The best one in there would be that you can use recovery mode.
Anyways those are the reasons I believe that you should get custom firmware.
Well, if you ever need custom firmware, please go to this link:
Harley G's Custom Firmware Patch!
I
STRONGLY reccomend you download it.
It will be of use when you downgrade you're 2.6 firmware to 1.5 firmware.
