How do I remove the UPDATE folder....

I have some PSP game ISOs, from which I want to remove the UPDATE folder....how do I do this without messing up with the game itself ?? Some people say that I should just remove the entire UPDATE folder, and recompile the ISO,...while others say that I should just dummy the files in the UPDATE folder.....

Help...

Thanx in advance...

i dont know what you mean
but if you mean to make the psp not have to update to run the iso, then you should make the iso into a cso using a compressor
then load that up with device hook

I see what you mean.
To remove the UPDATE folder is no problem. Believe me it will not connect to the actual game since it hasnt/all ready has been dumped on the PSP. Its safe to Remove it, but its impossible to remove the Game Update On a UMD or ISO

i know how to recompile an iso!
i figured it out!

first
you gotta copy all the files to your desktop
then burn a normal cd with that data on it
any cd will work i think
then copy the iso off that cd
and there you go
:)

to make the update folder not in the iso
dont include the update folder inside the iso! :)

Ofcourse its gonna work,
you just gotta pop in the UMD and hope for it to show up on the hard drive. Then once you're CD drive starts coming down in flames, you're UMD has been Burned and you're ISO is recompiled!

no you twit
you put in a blank cd
which is what i said
or a blank dvd
then you burn the information you want in the iso on the cd
then you take the iso off the cd or dvd you just burned
and itll be in iso format

Oh I thought you meant getting it from the UMD, but ofcourse everyone already knows that. How else do you think they got ISOs on torrents? Magic?
