Restart your PSP, if it does not come on, its either that you are screwed (because Imnot sure which firmware you came from)
If it turns on, tell me what you're firmware is, and which firmware you came from. You can recover it with recovery mode.

yeah, i figured i could do that...
i was trying to upgrade my firmware from 1.50.

but my system settings said it was 2.0...

it\'s hard to explain but i used a program a while back
to trick my psp into thinking it\'s 2.0
but it\'s actually 1.50

now it thinks it\'s 2.0.. but it\'s really 1.50
so i tried using the custom firmware.
and now it\'s STILL packing and extracting...

and Mailas, i need to know FOR SURE
ARE YOU SURE i should turn it off?

Tell me..
do you know if you're PSP battery power was over 75%? It must be over 75%.
And most likely the battery power will run out while flashing process, so yes you should turn off your PSP if its taking that long.

Turn it on, tell me what happens. Did you come from regular 1.50 or 1.50 custom firmware?

okay, i turned it off, and i turned it back on, and it\'s okay.
it went back to the normal screen.
thank God.

and i went from regular 1.50.

so now that it\'s back to normal....how to i upgrade
to 3.02??
it\'s @1.50 right now--however, my PSP thinks it\'s
a 2.0 version, but it\'s really 1.50.

You have to install OE-B when you have OE-A, but don't worry you just have to pop in the eboot and it takes two seconds.
Heres the easy installer for OE-A:

well that link didn\'t work for me, but
i found another installer--and it worked...
for a little while. it stops at 37% when it\'s
making the ISO and CSO folder.

Any Ideas?

I dont remember mine doing that, but I just got mine from 2.71 SE-C, I didnt use any easy installer or any of that, I got one that had 1.50 already dumped,
so Im not sure why it would stop at there.
