How to connect through dish network tv!

well... lets see if i can do this verbally.

step one: turn your psp on, and flip the wifi on. (located on the left hand side of the psp... push it up.

step two: go to network settings

step three: select Infrastructure Mode

step four: choose new connection

step five: (name the connection if you want) then move right select scan

step six: get under the satilite and back up to where you can see it and aim it towards the satilite and you should get a connection if it is WEP then you can't connect to it unless you have the WEP ADDRESS for it. If it lists as NONE then you can jump right on.

step seven: If you are the owner of the satilite then you can connect (MAYBE) through the satelite box. the satelite box is the thing you use to change the channel on your tv. I never owned a satelite because i have cable.

step eight: If and when you get a connection (if you have version 2.0 you can use the web browser and pull up web pages.)
stay where you are and don't move or your connection will stop. The same if you are downloading the file or new version.

thats cool man! I do have Dish Network but my Satelite Dish is way on the top of the roof and I live in an apartment
building. Dont know how Im gonna get this to work and besides I already did get a little signal from my satelite but it
already have WEP for it, so you might as well dont bother trying to get it to work.

well then the only way to get on the net is using the wifi from the dish that uses the phone line cuz my box has a phone card goin to it so it might be fast as dial up but can anyone see how fast the connection is? like try dling a song at www.emp3finder.com and see how long it takes to dl it using ur dish connection

K i have Dish TV at my dad's house and I got a connection, I just need the WEP key...how would I find that?

well i pick up a very faint UNAMED wep connection, but im not sure if thats from my dish, if it is i cant get on cuz i dont know wep password

Isnt there any way you can get the WEP key?
