I tried using xbox connect since I finnally got my internet cable back.
Its hooked up to my lynksys router.
"Sorry, we could not find a network connection. Make sure your cable is not disconnected and try again"

go to your router settings and check the security settings, my router is set so that it allows only certain mac adresses to acess it.

No, this happened to me.. There is something you have to do. Go to online support.. You have to go into options and check something off so that it works..

I remember my firends had this probem (as well as myself)

One of them called xbox tech and they walked them through some steps dealing w/their router..

Dont worry, I got it working. I just had to port forward my router (firewall -_- )
It took me all night to figure out how to get my static IP and port forward, so now its all good.
Now I need to get my head set back lol.

Halo 2 just isn't fun to me anymore. Not trying to sound like a dumb-macho Halo player (b/c I'm not) but that game is just too easy for me and it is impossible for me to have fun with it. I don't even own an xbox and whenever I am at a friends house I RUIN everybody without even playing for months at a time. I just don't find it enjoyable.
