Newbi needing help.

Hi All,

I am a 44 year old male living in the UK. The wife bought me my PSP as I go away camping a lot and I will use it as a mini home entertainment system. I have read most of the post in this form and I think I understand what this Home Brew Stuff is. Like a fool I have been upgrading my PSp via the UK Sony PSP site and now my PSP has 3.10 firmware.

Even reading all your post I still would be very unconfident in trying to downgrade my PSP. I would like to use my PSP to be able to read PDF Files, Text Files and saved Web Pages, also to have a mini PDA system running so that I can input event details and peoples home and contact details on while I am out.

Is there any one in the UK on this forum that I could post my PSP to them, and they could downgrade it for me (I would even pay them to do it for me).

I am not sure if what I have said above is possible, but if it was it would be the best thing that I have ever owned. The only thing that I am looking out for now is a secondhand camera attachment for it, then I would not need to take my camera when I go out. another thing which would be good is a TV tuner attachment, and Sat Nav for the car. Are these available in Japan??.

Well if anyone can help or point me in the right direction please feel free to PM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Fred (A very happy Man) :D :D :D :D :D :D

Not sure if there's any people from the UK on the forum, i'm sure there is tho.. I''m from across the pond in Ireland...

Well I'm afraid at this current moment in time you won't be able to downgrade your psp as they haven't come out with a downgrader for 3.10 firmware's... Your gonna have to wait a little while for that to happen... Sorry man...

Not sure bout the other questions you have.. I'm sure some of the guru's here will answer them for ya...

Good luck,

Jaz

yeah

sorry but like the last post says nothing can be done with a 3.10 at this time if you want to do all of those things i would recommend not up dating any more and wait for a downgrade to come one day.

there is a camera and gps i know the camera is out i donno about the gps though, and all the homebrew stuff you wanna do like the pdf and txt views we can do that. but again sorry its not possible at this time

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. Just have to keep coming back here and wait for the right downgraders to be made.

If and when they are made would it be possible to write them down in such a way that even I could understand them, or could it not be possible to make an all in one application. Just download it to the mem stick press X leave for 10 mins and hay presto its all do for you, totaly idiot proof.

Thanks guys, Keep up all the good work and please invent a downgrader as soon as possible.

Cheers,

Fred :D :D :D
