Internet on psp.

Internet on psp.

Well up to now i never could go on internet on my psp.

when i try [new connection] In WLAN Settings i pick scan it get my internet ............ wep 100% i click on it. i click the right arrow every thing is good up to when i try to connect my psp it say obtaining IP adress. after 10 sec it say A connection error has occurred, the attempt to obtain the ip address time out.

i also tryed the second way to do it by entering manualy. but there it say DNS error
can any one tell me how could i get MY:
IP address, SUbnet Mask, Default Router, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS or just tell me how you got your working.

do you have the wep password? other than that, reformating helped me out a while back when that happend to me

reformating what? my pc? ther is any other way that i can get my wep?

he meant reformatting the psp's memory stick (but make sure you have w/e you need backed up on your computer).

I don't know about these sorts of problems but I am guessing that there is some way to reset the router or something...

That sounds more like a problem with the router/network that you are using. If there is a DNS error it is likely that the information is not being served to to the PSP. Is this your home network? I have found that some public/airport networks that require some form of verification will cause a similar errors on the PSP. Snoop to see if there is an open wifi net near you and try it there. If you connect, you have a problem at your source. Rebooting your router, reconfiguring the DHCP page on the router admin, and/or setting up a specific IP addy would be the first steps that I take.
